Merks Poultry Farm Limited is one of Nova Scotia’s top poultry and egg producers.  Headquartered in the Annapolis Valley, they operate a number of production sites in the region.

In 2016 Rural Roots was hired to design five new production facilities that included breeder and pullet barns as well as conventional two-storey broiler barns.  Working closely with the owner, we were able to investigate several construction options to find the best value for construction and operation.
